Where you would be living
The Chateau by Highlands sits at 1670 Friendship Road in Hoschton, in the Braselton area of northeast Georgia. Minutes from Chateau Elan, close to I-85 and I-985, and roughly half an hour from Atlanta when you want the city.
Braselton is the reason a lot of residents end up here rather than closer in: the pace is calmer, the drive to a hospital is about six minutes, and you are not paying metro Atlanta rent for the privilege.

How much is a one-bedroom?
Starting at $1,565 per month as of 08/03/2026, plus a community fee of about $160 per month (as of 07/05/2026). Rent varies by home and changes with availability, so call (404) 998-5500 for a quote on a specific apartment.
How big are the one-bedroom floor plans?
The Alto is offered at 751 and 833 square feet, and The Sierra at 807 square feet. All are single-bedroom, single-bathroom homes with open-concept living areas.
Is this assisted living?
No. The Chateau by Highlands is a 55+ active-adult rental community and residents are fully independent. There is no assisted living, no memory care, no on-site care and no meal plan. Many residents enjoy the convenience of meal delivery services if they would rather not cook.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, we are pet-friendly. Ask the leasing team about breed and weight guidelines when you visit.
Do I have to sign a long lease or pay an entrance fee?
There is no entrance fee and no buy-in. These are rental apartment homes, so you pay monthly rent and a community fee rather than buying into the community.
What if the one-bedrooms are full when I am ready?
Join the priority waitlist. Homes here turn over quietly and waitlisted residents usually hear before anything is advertised.
